New Toyota Tundra CrewMax 4X2 2009 2010 Review, Specs, Prices & Photos

Roads have recently been hit by the powerful new 2009 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 4X2. The car makes a style statement with its strong lines and features. 2009 has seen the inclusion of two new option packages from Toyota Racing Development (TRD) called the TRD Rock Warrior Package and the TRD Sport Edition Package. Providing full value for money, both the new versions have an energizing visual appeal with an aura of dominant strength around it.
The new Tundra versions have enhanced features like heated mirrors, mudguards and a cold kit. Interiors have also been given a face-lift with power bucket front seats and a top-end AM/FM 6-disc CD audio system. Toyota also claims to have introduced a ‘first in this segment’ Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) as standard equipment in its new 2009 Tundra CrewMaxs. Giving drivers better control over their machine is a standard Automatic Limited-slip Differential (Auto-LSD), which not only helps improve grip but also provides better acceleration.
The 4.7 L V8 engine provides standard five-speed automatic transmission featuring 276 horsepower at 5,400 rpm. Additionally, standard features for both the new versions include a 10-way adjustable power seat for the driver and a four-way adjustable power seat for the front passenger. Some excellent features that add to convenience include power windows, windshield wiper de-icer and rear window defroster.
The interiors of this full-size pickup truck are classily done with a brilliant combination of sophisticated ruggedness. While leather seats compliment its adventurous and sporty look to a great extent, it is well equipped with latest upgraded technology of wireless access for Bluetooth enabled devices. The interiors are ideally designed for on-the-move professionals who carry a mini office with them while travelling. While the center console provides sufficient storage space for files and laptop computers, the armrest doubles up as a work shelf when closed. Additionally, the 3.4-liter upper glove box provides enough space for holding your refreshments.
Without compromising on safety, the new 2009 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 4X2 has automatic front and rear locking retractors, driver and passenger airbags and a star safety system. A tilt steering wheel along with auxiliary power outlets add to the appeal of the 2009 Toyota Tundra range of models. Additional features like aluminum alloy wheels, tilt moon-roofs and DVD navigation can be added to this customizable truck that has high chances of being the neighbor’s envy and owner’s pride.
