The most spacious Sports Utility Vehicle, the new jeep commander is a powerful vehicle that goes on all road conditions and even takes you to steep mountains with ease. The four-door, seven-passenger new jeep commander comes in three basic models – Sport, Limited and Overload.
Coming in 6 trims in total, the new jeep commander is equipped with powerful V6 and V8 engines. The sport 4X2 and 4 X4 models come with 3.7-liter, V6 engines. With a 210 horsepower @ 5200 rpm and a torque of 235 ft-lbs @ 4000, they get you 14 miles per gallon in the cities and 19 miles per gallon on the highways.
Where as the new jeep commander Limited 4X2, 4X4 trims is equipped with 4.7 L V8 engines, which draws a horse power of 305 @ 5650 and a torque of 334 @3950. The more powerful new jeep commander Overland 4 X2 and 4X4 have 5.7-liter, V8 engines and comes with a 330 horsepower and a torque of 375 ft-lbs @ 4000. Both the Limited and Overload versions can only fetch you 13 mpg and 17-mpg in the cities and on the highways respectively. All the jeep commander models come with a five -speed auto transmission.

The new jeep commander’s interior also exhibits a clean and attractive air of itself. Though the first two rows of seats are comfortable, the last row is not that spacious. The driver and the front passenger have enough legroom. It is same with the middle row. But coming to the third row, it is better for the kids.
The new jeep commander Sport models have all standard facilities and gadgets with power accessories, good air-conditioning, rear park system and a good audio system. In the new jeep commander Limited, you have a back camera, dimming mirrors (auto), sensing wipers, power adjustable pedals and front seats and auto climate control.
